Cities of London and Westminster

Our tactical voting recommendation in Cities of London and Westminster:
Vote Labour

Why vote Labour in Cities of London and Westminster?

Losing the Cities of London and Westminster constituency would be a bitter blow for the Conservative Party. This was a safe Tory seat but it's been shifting away from them, becoming a close race with Labour in 2017. In 2019, the Lib Dems did well here, targeting Remain-supporting areas, but the seat is not a target for the Lib Dems in this election. Labour won control of the Westminster City Council in 2022 and gained the West Central London Assembly constituency from the Conservatives in May 2024. The latest polling shows Labour has a narrow lead over the Conservatives, which could tighten as the election campaign progresses. Tactical voting by Lib Dem and Green supporters could be crucial here, and voters in this constituency are particularly willing to vote tactically according to our research.
