Tactical voting
Doncaster East and the Isle of Axholme
Why vote Labour in Doncaster East and the Isle of Axholme?
Doncaster East and the Isle of Axholme is a new constituency although it is the principal successor to the previous Don Valley seat. The new seat is key to decide whether Labour can form a majority government. It is not a target seat for any other opposition party. Latest polling shows Labour comfortably ahead of the Conservatives, but the margin has fluctuated; polls have tightened during campaigns before and been in error in some previous elections. Model results can also be in error when there are large boundary changes. This constituency is one in which tactical voting for the leading anti-Conservative challenger may make a difference.
