Tactical voting

East Wiltshire

Our tactical voting recommendation in East Wiltshire:
Vote Labour

Why vote Labour in East Wiltshire?

East Wiltshire is a new constituency containing Marlborough, Amesbury and villages; most of it was previously in the Devizes seat. If it had existed in the 2019 election it would have voted Conservative by a large majority. Latest polling indicates that, despite its apparently deep Tory roots, there could be a close contest between Labour and the Conservatives. The Liberal Democrats and Greens are far behind, and their supporters can cast an effective vote against the Conservative government by supporting Labour.
