Tactical voting

Gillingham and Rainham

Our tactical voting recommendation in Gillingham and Rainham:
Vote Labour

Why vote Labour in Gillingham and Rainham?

Labour held the Gillingham and Rainham constituency (then called Gillingham) between 1997 and 2010. Since 2010 the Conservatives have built up a large advantage in votes, making it look like a safe seat on the 2019 figures. The latest polling shows Labour with a clear lead over the Conservatives in Gillingham and Rainham. However, polls have tightened during campaigns before and been in error in some previous elections. There is a large Reform UK potential vote that may pose a threat to Labour if the right wing is united; Labour’s lead depends on the right being divided. No other opposition party is targeting Darlington and Labour is the clear anti-Conservative choice.
