Why vote Labour in Keighley and Ilkley?
The Conservative majority in 2019 was narrow. Keighley and Ilkley is therefore a critical seat if the Tories are to be ejected from government. No other party regards it as a target seat. Swings have always tended to be low in Keighley, and the latest polling shows Labour with a comfortable lead over the Conservatives in general election voting intention. However, polls have tightened during campaigns before and been in error in some previous elections so Lib Dems and Greens are encouraged to back Labour here.
