North Cotswolds
Why vote Lib Dem in North Cotswolds?
North Cotswolds is a new constituency created in the boundary changes that take effect at the general election. It contains the northern half of the former The Cotswolds seat, plus some towns, villages and suburbs around Gloucester. Had it existed at the time of the 2019 election it would have been Conservative with a large majority. Recent polling has seen the Labour and Conservative votes decrease and the Liberal Democrats increase. Analysis of polling and local factors mean any voters wishing to inflict a defeat on the Conservatives should unite behind the Liberal Democrats in North Cotswolds.
