Tactical voting

Our tactical voting recommendation in Redcar:
Vote Labour
Why vote Labour in Redcar?
Latest polling shows Labour comfortably ahead of the Conservatives in this constituency, but polls have tightened during campaigns before and been in error in some previous elections, and the Conservative vote was still strong in the Tees Valley mayoral election in May 2024. Labour’s poll lead cannot be taken for granted, and it depends on the Conservatives losing some votes to Reform UK. The Tories will try to squeeze Reform, but this can be counteracted by supporters of the Lib Dems and Greens lending their votes to Labour. It is not a target seat for any other party.
