Tactical voting
St Ives
Our tactical voting recommendation in St Ives:
Vote Lib Dem
Why vote Lib Dem in St Ives?
St Ives is the constituency for southwestern Cornwall including Penzance and St Ives, extending to the Scilly Isles. The Lib Dems held the seat from 1997 to 2015 and remain competitive. The Conservative majority in 2017 and 2019 was small. Recent polls show a growing Lib Dem lead over the Conservatives. Labour does not regard St Ives as a target seat, focussing instead on nearby seats like Camborne and Redruth, and Truro and Falmouth.
