Tactical voting
Wakefield and Rothwell
Our tactical voting recommendation in Wakefield and Rothwell:
Vote Labour
Why vote Labour in Wakefield and Rothwell?
Wakefield and Rothwell is the successor seat to the previous Wakefield constituency. Labour had a large lead over the Conservatives in the May 2024 local elections and in our latest polling. However, polls have tightened during campaigns before and been in error in some previous elections so it would be incautious to regard Wakefield and Rothwell as ‘in the bag’ for Labour.
