Why vote Labour in Bangor Aberconwy?

Bangor Aberconwy is a new constituency based on the previous Aberconwy seat - it adds some rural areas and the city of Bangor. Aberconwy was previously a marginal seat between the Conservatives and Labour, while Arfon - from which comes Bangor - was a Plaid Cymru constituency. Latest polling shows Labour with a comfortable lead over the Conservatives in this constituency, but polls have tightened during campaigns before and been in error in some previous elections, as have model results for constituencies with radical boundary changes. The cautious voter will wish to ensure that the Conservatives are defeated and the clear tactical option is Labour.
