Tactical voting

Monmouthshire

Our tactical voting recommendation in Monmouthshire:
Vote Labour

Why vote Labour in Monmouthshire?

Monmouthshire is the successor to the previous Monmouth constituency. It has been held by the Conservatives since 2005 but was Labour in 1997 and 2001. It is therefore one of the seats that will make the difference to Labour’s ability to form a government. Latest polling shows Labour clearly ahead of the Conservatives in Monmouthshire, but polls have tightened during campaigns before and been in error in some previous elections.
